Jimmy is one of the most well known and respected musicians in the London Latin music scene. He attended the renowned Berklee College of Music in the 80’s, where he caught the salsa bug from the many Puerto Rican musicians also studying there.

After graduating he immediately moved to London and has lived there ever since. In his many years playing salsa, Jimmy has collaborated with many leading UK  based outfits, including Orquesta La Clave (which he led and directed, and for which he produced all of the arrangements), Snowboy and the Latin Section, Grupo X, Penya, Orquesta Bombele, Sexteto Café, Cuban Combination and Omar Puente. He has also appeared with many international artists, including Tony Vega, Tito Allen, Camilo Azuquita, Luisito Carrion, Jimmy Sabater, Lalo Rodriguez, Orlando Watusi, Alex d’Castro, Gabino Pampini, Frankie Morales, Paquito Guzman, Adalberto Santiago, Mariano Civico, Joe Bataan, Alfredo Rodriguez, Jack Costanzo, and N.Y.trombone maestro Jimmy Bosch. Jimmy is also an arranger and composer and producer who has contributed arrangements and compositions to several artists, as well as for his own projects.
